Tumbler breeds:
The name tumbler is a bit misleading for this category, and although some of the breeds do actually have some form (Aerial or ground) tumbling action, the majority most probably started out as some form of tumbling action, but as features such as muffed feet/legs, crests frills etc. were added, the tumbling quality has disappeared, and the bird are kept purely for show value, where colour, stance and other features play the main part.
